If it won't start

The jar opens as a zip, or nothing happens

You need Java 11 or newer. Install Temurin 21, then double-click the jar again. On Windows, if it still opens in an archive program, run Jarfix once.

macOS says the app is damaged or can't be opened

The app isn't notarised yet. Open Terminal and run xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Wyldor.app, then open it again.

It says the server is offline

Check the status at the top of this page and on Discord: updates are announced there, with a countdown in game.

Your first ten minutes

  1. Log in with any new name and password. That's your account now, so keep the password.
  2. Pick a mode. Normal gets you straight into PK; Ironman and Realism are for training it yourself.
  3. Pick a build: Main, Zerker, Pure or Initiate. You get the stats and a full kit, worn.
  4. Walk north. The Wilderness ditch is eight tiles from where you spawn. ::presets regears you in one click.
